Consistently reliable and good food, reasonable (but not cheap) prices and in a plain setting. Pretty ordinary service though, as the single waiter/waitress races off to deal with telephone orders and the kitchen. The wine list is not very deep. No coffee at all, because they don't have coffee in India, apparently. They do, however, have Hungarian spirits, funnily enough. No credit cards because of the usual technical problems, so be prepared for the run to the nearest ATM. In short, the food is a winner, but the rest could do with a little bit of work. 3.5

Great food at reasonable prices. For an Indian restaurant, there were very limited veg. options

The oldest Indian restaurant in Budapest has been renovated and keeps offering my daughter's favourite Corma chicken. Delicious without pretence.

I expected much more taste from the dishes. Tandoori chicken was tasteless, seems like simply painted with red and boiled. Biryani was sticky, but sometimes I felt hard rice cracking on the teeth. Only chicken momo was nice but not so nice as Georgian hinkali if to compare. Restaurant is worth to be visited one time. Finaly, we all humans and have different tastes.

The food is not bad but has absolutely nothing to do with Indian cuisine. It would have been a disappointment in itself but nothing else was ok either. Ordered on foodpanda, at payment was quoted a 60 mins wait time. In the end it took an hour and 45 mins for them to deliver (the place is 5 mins far by car). Ordered garlic naan, got butter naan instead. Price is very expensive for what you get. If you want the taste of India, this is not the place.

Ridiculous, this should not be called biriyani. It was a flavor-less mixture of rice, chicken(was not properly cooked) and other ingredients. It doesn't even have the texture of biriyani and it was sticky. It was not properly made as a biriyani should be, the spices and other ingredients doesn't blend in with rice and chicken. At first, I was disappointed with the quantity as you can see from the picture, it is nowhere near what other restaurants provide. It could be justified if the taste was great but everything was horrible about this chicken biriyani, price(2999HUF).. There are other restaurants which sell better tasting biriyanis at lower price in Budapest, it's better to avoid this place if you want to have good Biriyani

The dishes are delicious, authentic Indian food and taste is really good. The roti, curries are good. It is not a big restaurant though, at a time can accomodate around 24 people. Not too crowded. I felt bit expensive. The service is good.

(seems like) authentic Indian food. Huge selection also for vegetarians. Quite small, but cosy place.
