A clean, tidy resting place with garbage can, benches, a fireplace, a good-yielding spring in the cooling embrace of the forest. Sometimes the small train stops here with tourists to take water. It is located next to the road, but there is little traffic here. It is also called the Malomvölgy spring. Be sure to relax here for a drop.

The Maria Well, also known as the Malomvölgyi Spring, was built in the early 1900s by stonemasons and miners in Ipolydamásd, Szobi and Márianosztra. From the opening of the mine, it needed a permanent water base, so the water from the springs in the mill valley was collected and drained to the lower mine 200 meters from the spring, and after the barracks were built, the residents were supplied with water. The drinking water of the stonemasons working in the upper mine was carried in cans by the water-bearing girls from the Mary's Well. The pipeline passed the present well, and the road to the upper mine also crossed it here. They first built an ordinary outlet, which was remodeled in 1901 and named Mary's Fountain. When it was completed, it became a shrine to divine inspiration. It became a place of rest and prayer for pilgrims to Nostra and farewell. It is now forgotten that the weary wanderer rested here, quenched the thirst of the hundreds of pilgrims who came to say goodbye to the five holy wounds of Jesus, and prayed to the Virgin Mary to protect them. In the 1930s, the back of the well was carved from a stepped arch. It can still be seen in this form today. Next to the well stood an old oak tree on which the miners had placed a picture of Mary. Today, only the stump of the original capable wood remains. The shutdown of the mining shuttle - which happened in the 1960s - caused the loss of the well. Over the years, the barren material accumulated on the side of the mountain buried the well pretty slowly as a result of heavy rains. In 2007, Miklós Schottner and György Tasnádi, the leaders of the Márianosztra village house, decided to explore and make the source accessible again. At their call, the residents, institutions and non-governmental organizations of Márianosztra, Szob and Ipolydamásd, with the powerful support of the management of the Szob quarry, assisted in this initiative. It is thanks to this that the Fountain of Mary once again shines in its old light. On May 13, 2008, there was a rededication of the well, on which a large crowd gathered.
