★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beuatiful and untouched piece of nature in the northern part of Hungary. It is also the place where Hungary's highest peak, Kékes is located. There is a vast array of opportunities to organize holidays or have fun. There are multiple 4 and 5 star hotels but there are also little guesthouses with friendly atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They cut down trees even next to the protected areas. The signed footh paths are in terrible condition, it seems like they do not maintain them at all. It is a shame because it could be a great destination for hikers and mountainbikers. Also a struggle to find good food, most of the restaurants sell only unhealthy fatty meals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The nature in it`s perfect beauty. There are a lot of hiking trail, plan in advance, book your accommodation, go, have fun and relax. You also can find downloadable, prepared hikes on the net. Be careful, unfortunately Google Maps isn`t good for it at all, yet.
Please, be civilized, leave everything as you found and bring your garbage back with you.
