Came here because of good reviews but left a bit disappointed. We ordered the Hungarian Limousine(?) with sides. The food took 30-40 minutes to arrive and the meat was slightly overcooked leaving it somewhat dry. (You cannot tell by the photos, but we both ordered approx the same amount of grams but they were not cooked the same) There was also no sauce other than the cheese sauce you could order on the side. The service was good and they apologized, but there were no compensation. Somewhat expensive for what you get.

This was an amazing food experience. If you’re a meat lover and in Budapest this is the place to go. Went here the first night I arrived in Budapest and got off to a good start. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is underpriced for what you get (feels weird saying that). I had the juiciest burger I’ve ever had and it was so tasty. I also got a plate of the sausages, which were unreal with a really good meaty flavour.

Amazing food and service. Meat is extremely tender, sauce is rich and juicy and the fried onios were crunchy. Great selection of beers. Staff very attentive and with a smile on the face. Super recommended!

One of the best meals we’ve tried in Budapest (and we’ve been to a few of the famous highly rated places both from google/blogs/recommendation by local guides). The sausage is home made and delicious. My wife made a makeshift hot dog with the bread provided and the home made mustard/salad. Quite ingenious! Duck was moist and very tasty. Generous portion foie gras on the side complimented perfectly. We wanted to use up all our cash and was just short and offered to pay the difference with card and they didn’t make a fuzz and said it was fine. They didn’t actually charge us the difference in the end! Amazing food and wonderful staff. Must try! Then go check out St. Stephen Basilica at night. It’s beautiful and just across the road.

This place deserves more than just a good review for the wonderful food and experience I have had though it has taken me close to 3 months to it cos my phone crashed but I never forget in promising myself to do so. I visited this place on my first night in Budapest as a solo traveller after a quick googling for a decent eating place nearby given I was starving, cold and it was super late. I was greeted warmly by the staff in this small little bar restuarant that was fairly simplistic in decor. I was given quick friendly recommendations of their signatures in which I opted for the roast duck. The duck was superb (coming from an Asian background in which we are known for many delish duck dishes such as the Beijing Duck). It was juicy though well roasted and the vegetables were sumptuous too. The staff came back often to check in if all was good and if I enjoyed my meal which was a nice start to my trip in Budapest with such welcoming vibes. Plus, the food was really delicious that I even promised I'd come back another night before I leave the country which I did. Unfortunately they did not have any steak or beef cheek dishes I was looking forward to trying the 2nd time in the week I was there but the gourmet bacon & beef burger did not fail to impress. I even had goose soup ravioli which not just warmed up my tummy but my soul for how good it was. And the standards of the warm service remain though I was served by different staff that night. Definitely the place I would come back to on my next trip for the fond experience there.

Great burgers with quality meat. Kind an helpful staff. We came here with our 6 months old son and the waiter was super nice and very helpful. The only negative thing is the noisy road, but it’s not that bad! The food is good!

This was my restaurant stop on my first night in Budapest and it didn't let me down. A great experience with top food. I went for the beef cheek and didn't regret. Meatology was also my introduction to Hungarian wine (which is a must!) and everything was reasonably priced.

You would be satisfied in next level. Adam, our host was a kind and cool guy who spent good time explaining the dishes in the most friendliest way ever. The food was super delicious beautifully designed and just prefect in every aspects. They offer good sections of wine and of-course their own beer which i was really enjoyed. This place would be my stop every time im gonna visit Budapest. Highly recommended.
