An ultrasound! That should have been enough for our dog to still be alive. The doctor is very sympathetic anyway, which is why I dared to bring my dog. Our dog was sagging, unkind, breathing hard, lying down. First we took him looked at his mouth, he said he was anemic, then he told us to come back in an hour because he had surgery and he would take blood from him, we would get an infusion and we would see more. We went back an hour later, took his blood, the dog was still ill, his nose was dry, he was weak, he was receiving the infusion. I asked ultrasound not to do, he said he did not consider it reasonable because he felt it and did not feel anything unusual. We come home and the dog is getting worse, barely breathing, getting up, collapsing, his heart is beating a lot. I'll call you what to do, he said, to take him to the veterinary hospital, have a chest x-ray there to collect his findings there anyway. Let's take it in by then the belly is huge. There they also did an x-ray and ultrasound and it turned out that he had a spleen tumor that was ruptured and his belly was full of blood. He was operated on immediately, but unfortunately our dog's heart stopped in the morning. I’m looking into the causes of the cause, I’m trying to find an explanation for where it all went, and I’m not saying that if it had been ultrasounded earlier it would have definitely saved me, but the opportunity was there. That way we'll never know again!
