J	János Boczka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tatárjárás utánni időkben épült. Itt keresztelték meg Mészáros Lőrinc ceglédi főpapot aki később Dózsa György hadainak fővezére lett. A 16.század közepén a török seregek lerombolták,1615-ben építették újjá,ekkor épült a saroktornyos,lőréses erődfal. Nyugati homlokzat előtti torony 1704-ben készült. 1713-ban földrengés rongálta meg,1743-ban újjáépítették,ekkor kapta a kazettás famennyezetét (eredetileg 100 táblából állt,Asztalos Imre és István festette őket). Két harangja van : 560 kg-os (1922 Budapest) 400 kg-os (Johann M.Schneider Kassa) It was built in the post-Tartar era. Emelt helyen álló, sarokbástyás fallal erődített , egyhajós, keresztházas, poligonális szentélyzáródású, keletelt templom. A nyugati homlokzatán torony áll. Az épület sarkait támpillérek erősítik. A keresztház nyugati oldalaihoz nyeregtetővel fedett kis előterek kapcsolódnak. Szép, értékes emlékünk, de ez sem kimondottan turistabarát. Megközelithetetlen, még a magas kőfalakkal övezett kertbe sem lehet bejutni. Ref. Church, Gothic from the 15th century. Rebuilt in 1902.
