Good view, food and interior. Favourite place

we went there twice, and had very mixed feelings about this place. The terrace upstairs has an incredibly nice atmosphere, specially after sunset. The food was served fast and was at least decent: the first time I ordered a burger, which was delicious, the other time I ate some wraps that was served a bit cold and was less tasty, but still far from being bad. My wife had some chicken strips that was okay. The service was basically nice and polite, though one time we and a bunch of other guests had to wait like 10 minutes inside to be able to pay, because the only server disappeared, and didn't say a word about it after getting back. Speaking of paying, our biggest disappointment was that both occasions, when asking for the check, the guy just told us the sum, and even after I specifically asked for the detailed check, he refused to give us. This is by the way totally unlawful in Hungary. Places used to play this trick a lot in the 90s, avoiding taxes or charging you extra, but to encounter this in 2021 in the downtown in a nice restaurant??? We didnt even know if a service fee was added to the sum, which is getting more and more common in Hungary. He said, that I could get behind the counter if I really insisted, and could take a look on the monitor where my orders were listed....what????? The sum, by the way, did not seem suspiciously high, only it gives you a bad experience after all, which is a pity, since the place has really good potential...

Café Menta is one of the coolest coffee house in Székesfehérvár. It has a fantastic terrace, you can have a panoramic view. Service was always excellent.
