Méz Múzeum Vizsoly Igazi ritkaság, hiánypótló kezdeményezés. Bár már többször is ketesztül-kasul jártuk az országot, de mindeddig még csak hasonló ötlettel sem találkoztunk. Közelebb hozni a méheket a kor emberéhez. Bár jelenleg - teszem hozzá, nagyon helyesen - egyre divatosabb a mézfogyasztás kis hazánkban, de az ember valahogy ösztönösen fél ezektől az apró, ám mégis hatalmas, szorgos és önzetlen kis lényektől. Ezt a mondhatni ősi kettősséget, próbálja meg feloldani ez a remek kezdeményezés, melyben értő gondossággal mutatják be a méhek mindennapjait és a méhészek ugyancsak odaadó és fáradságos munkáját. Kettősség, hiszen míg mindennapi életünket egyre jobban áthatja a mézfogyasztás, addig azonnal csapkodni és menekülni kezdünk amint feltűnik a közelünkben Maja, a fekete-sárga csíkos apróság. Egy rövid de érdekes ismeretterjesztő kisfilm megtekintését követően háziasszonyunk bemutatta a mézkészítés eszközeit, majd egy üvegfalu méhkaptár segítségével megismetkedhetünk a méhek mindennapjaival, érdekes történetekkel fűszerezve, majd tetszés szerint méz és/vagy mézbor kóstolás következett. A megszokott ízek mellett található chilis, tökmagos, narancsos, gesztenyés és felsorolni sem tudom, hogy hányféle méz. Ha ez nem lett volna elég, akkor szabadon választható programként, a méhek között, kellően körültekintő házigazdánkkal eltöltött teljesen veszélytelen fél órát követően - sokkal nagyobb megértést és elfogadást tanúsítva szorgos kis barátaink iránt - távozhatunk a vizsolyi Méz Múzeumból. A múzeum nyitvatartása minden nap 09:00 - 17:00 óra között. A jegyárak szintèn nem elszáltak, ha figyelembe vesszük, hogy a 950,- forintos belépő tartalmaz egy 45 grammos ajándék mézet, amit magunk választhatunk ki.

Fantastic experience! Family run business, friendly guide. Exciting and a bit eerie being so close to the bee hives and the bees. The little shop has all bee made products you could imagine.

Very friendly honey museum. There is a small guided tour. After the tour there is honey tasting, and you can choose a gift honey. There is also a shop, where you can buy different kind of honeys, and beeswax products. Highly recommended

2.5 - 3 euros entry, with a tiny jar of honey, and some tasting included. Exhibition of traditional tools of the trade, documents and the like. Depending on the time, some processes are demonstrated live. I got to hold a honeycomb with hundreds of bees on it, great experience!

Gergő is a master beekeeper and he built a very prospering business from scratch with passion. He can talk a lot of his experiences and can give you very good advices if youre interested with the bees. Definitely worth to check this museum and also you can taste very special and tasty honeys.

A delightful little museum!! Worth the drive through the bumpy country roads !!! We received an informative tour of the history of honey-making. In the other room, which is clean and organized as a pharmacy, you have a chance to taste all the delicious honeys they harvest and the artisan honeys they make. We bought 6 different kinds, one is better than the other and many with specific healing qualities. In the garden you can see the bees in action in a glass bee hive. At the neighbouring house you can buy 'lángos' that delicious Hungarian fried dough.
