★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi ez a MIe? Kérdezik tőlem azok, akik nem a turizmusban dolgoznak. Szerencsére a szakmában pár év alatt kivívta elismertségét a Magyar Idegenvezetők Egyesülete, így nem kell őket bemutatni. Egy lelkes csapat hozta létre a MIe-t 2006-ban, ami ma már több, mint 200 tagot tudhat magáénak. Változatos programokat, továbbképzéseket szerveznek, képviselik az idegenvezetők érdekeit, segítenek cégeknek azt az idegenvezetőt megtalálni, aki legjobban passzol az adott csoporthoz. Idegenvezetőknek az éves tagsági díj csupán 12.000 Ft, ami bőven megtérül, hiszen számtalan programon lehet tagként ingyenesen részt venni. Ha pedig valaki annyira elfoglalt, hogy egyre sem tud elmenni, akkor legalább tudja, hogy jó helyre került a pénze, hiszen havi 1.000 Ft-tal támogatni az egyesületet, az igazán nem megeröltető.

An enthusiastic team formed MIe in 2006, which now has more than 200 members. They organize various programs and further trainings, represent the interests of tour guides, and help companies find the tour guide that best suits the given group. The annual membership fee for tour guides is only HUF 12,000, which pays off a lot, as you can participate in numerous programs as a member free of charge. And if someone is so busy that they can't even go away, then at least they know that their money is in the right place, since supporting the association with 1,000 HUF a month is really not stressful.
