 Wonderful place now so before Christmas, I recommend it to everyone, the evening is the most beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few minarets left in Hungary. If you have been to Eger as well this will be definitely a big dissapointment. There was possibility to go to the top before but now I didn't see the sign which said that someone in the minaret's street has the keys to the minaret's door. There is also a small overview of its history, available also in English. It's easily accessible by car (5 minutes away from the center of Érd), it's located in the middle of a roundabout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's definitely an interesting and unique feature of the landscape around. It is well kept, but then it is also a reconstruction, which I didn't quite get before visiting. On the history panel it is written you can get the keys to access the minaret from a nearby house, but I decided not to. If you happen to be trekking or biking in the area, you can surely stop and rest in front of it.
