Barátságos, segítőkész könyvtárosok, széleskörű gyüjtemény, ingyenes wifi és géphasználat.

Jól lehet tanulni + gép/net elérés ha kéne, wifi zóna, csomagmegőrző.

Habár a kor már meglátszik mind az épületen, mind a felszerelésen maga a hely rendkívül igényes. A könyvtárosok rendkívül kedvesek és segítőkészek, az itt megrendezett programok érdekesek és a múzeum is megér egy sétát az érdeklődők számára. A könyvállomány és a szolgáltatások minősége folyamatosan fejlődik, például lehet már ebook olvasót is kölcsönözni.

Fáradt, de segítőkész emberekkel találkoztam, még különleges igényeket is kiszolgálnak. Gyakran van kiállítás az emeleten, és van egy rádiótörténeti kiállítás is a földszinten. Kényelmes, meleg, kissé használt külalakban, de funkcionális a hely. Műszaki területen nagyon széles a könyvkínálat. Az épület megkopottságában is érdekes. Ajánlom mindenkinek!

Two stars and not one because one of the librarians was super kind. I called them before I visited them. -Hi, I am not a university student, but a translator, and I am looking for a quiet place. Are you open until 8pm today? -No, today we are open only until 12pm, but you are welcome here even if you are not a student. The annual fee is 2500 HUF, you may even loan books. -Great, can I pay with credit card? -Oh no, cash only. -Fine, I will be there in 30min. Arriving 30 min later, with cash, a 20K HUF note (=60 USD) -Oh, sorry, we cannot give you change, this bill is too large. -(I give them a smaller bill.) Okay, could you tell me how the library works? Where can I sit, what is the wifi password, etc. -Well, you cannot sit here today at all, as you may only stay at this place for borrowing books and then you have to leave immediately. -But I specifically told you I am a translator and I need a quiet place. -Yes, you can stay until 8pm from next week on. -You did not even have the right opening time on google, and now you say I cannot even stay here for half an hour? -Yes, you cannot. (they get angry) You do not need to register with us, if you do not want to. And we have updated information on our website (true, but you have to click a lot for it, read a lot for it and it is only available in Hungarian) -I want to finish the registration process, I just do not get it how you did not tell me this on the phone, and you do not update the google site of your library. Anyone can edit it, and for first time visitors, they will never check your website if they find your info on google, AND they call you. (they look at me as if they have not even heard about google). And so, I left.
