★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2020. december 7-től megváltozott az utcánk forgalmi rendje. Autósok, motorosok, fogatosok és egyéb járművek csak egy irányba, a Zólyom utca felől (a Péteri út, Kossuth Lajos utca irányába) hajthatnak be. Ezzel egyidőben a Mátra utcával párhuzamos Tátra utcát is egyirányúsította a város, mégpedig az ellenkező irányba (a Péteri út felől a Zólyom utca felé). Ezzel az úttesten közlekedő gyalogosok és a kerékpárosok kivételével a járművek nem találkoznak ezután szembejövő forgalommal. Így csökkenhet a bosszúság és a balesetveszély.
- Hurrá! - örülök neki. Bár ez az intézkedés a környéken lakók között vegyes érzelmeket keltett, de előbb utóbb ők is megszokják majd az ezzel járó plusz utakat, kerülőt és felhőtlen lesz az öröm errefelé.
A város ennek érdekében még egyebeket is léphetne: sűrűbben kellene és jobb minőségben kátyúzni! a sarkoknál különösen! Növelni minden kereszteződésnél az úttest ívét, megkönnyítve ezzel a járművek bekanyarodását! Továbbá kellően kiszélesíteni az úttestet valamint jelentősen megerősíteni az úttest széleit és a padkákat.
Persze tudom, hogy egyirányúsítani könnyebb...

At the same time, the city also directed Tátra Street, which is parallel to Mátra Street, in the opposite direction (from Péteri út to Zólyom utca). With the exception of pedestrians and cyclists on the road, vehicles will not encounter oncoming traffic thereafter. This can reduce annoyance and the risk of accidents.

The city could do even more to do this: it would have to pigeon more densely and in better quality! especially at the corners! Increase the curve of the roadway at all intersections, making it easier for vehicles to turn around! In addition, widen the roadway sufficiently and significantly strengthen the edges of the roadway and the benches.
Of course I know it's one-way easier ...
