★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most reklamáltam a forgalmi irodában, mert az orrom előtt ment el a ceglédi vonat:
- Mi lesz így velünk kérem, ha már a MÁV-ra se lehet számítani? Kijövök az állomásra, ahonnan - kivételesen! - menetrend szerint pontosan indult el a vonat, én meg lekéstem ez miatt a csatlakozást az IC-re Ceglédről Szegedre.
...ahol, mire én odaérek, addigra kihűl a halászlevem... - közösen egy jót nevettünk a "mérgemen".
- De most a viccet félretéve: A vonalunkat érintő egyre nagyobb ütemű vasútkorszerűsítési munkák miatt bizony gyakran késnek a vonatok. Őszinte részvétem a rendszeresen utazóknak! Vígasztaljon viszont bennünket a tudat, hogy a korszerűsítést követően a korábbiaknál gyorsabban és kényelmesebben közlekedhetünk majd.
Én legalábbis ezt remélem - ha megérem...
(Egy hatvanöt év feletti pozitív gondolkodású utasként írom ezt, aki még emlékszik arra, hogy huzatos, fapados, fűtetlen kocsiban is utaztunk valaha, amit gőzmozdony vontatott.)
I just complained in the traffic office because the train from Cegléd passed in front of my nose:
- What will happen to us, please, if you can't even count on MÁV? I get out of the station from where - exceptionally! - the train started exactly on schedule, and I missed the connection to the IC from Cegléd to Szeged.
... where by the time I get there, my fishing soup will cool down ...
- But now the joke aside: Trains are often delayed due to the increasing pace of modernization work on our line. My sincere condolences to the regular travelers! On the other hand, let us be comforted by the knowledge that after the modernization we will be able to travel faster and more comfortably than before.
At least that's what I hope - if I'm worth it ...
(I am writing this as a positive-minded passenger over the age of sixty-five who still remembers that we once traveled in a draft, low-cost, unheated car towed by a steam locomotive.)
