★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Messziről látszik a "szemétégető" óriási kéménye, amely időnként fehéres füstöt pöfög a levegőbe. Fekete, gomolygó füstről szó sincs, a korszerűsítéseknek köszönhetően szinte biztos, hogy be vannak tartva az környezetvédelmi előírások.
Évi 420.000 tonna hulladék elégetésére képes, amivel itt tűnik el a Budapesten keletkező szilárd hulladék 60%-a.
Az égés során keletkező vízgőz 13 ezer lakás fűtését biztosítja, valamint 45 ezer lakás éves villamosenergia-felhasználásának megfelelő áramot állítanak elő.
Azaz ez egy kombi erőmű: hőenergiát és villamosenergiát is előállít.
A létesítmény 1982-ben készült el, és 2005-ben volt a nagyrekonstrukciója.
Az udvarában van egy szobor - a címe: Madarak, alkotói pedig Varga Imre és Sütő Ferenc - madarak keringenek a füstoszlop körül. Egyelőre nem sikerült bejelölnöm a G.Maps-en.
From afar you can see the huge chimney of the "incinerator", which at times puffs whitish smoke into the air. There is no question of black, billowing smoke, thanks to the upgrades, it is almost certain that environmental regulations have been complied with.
It is capable of burning 420,000 tons of waste per year, which eliminates 60% of the solid waste generated in Budapest.
The water vapor generated during the combustion provides heating for 13,000 homes and generates electricity corresponding to the annual electricity consumption of 45,000 homes.
That is, it is a combi power plant: it also produces heat and electricity.
The facility was completed in 1982 and underwent a major reconstruction in 2005.
In his yard there is a statue - the title: Birds, and its creators Imre Varga and Ferenc Sütő - birds revolve around the smoke column. I haven't been able to check in on G.Maps yet.
