★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay, if only for surroundings - Tokaji wineries and sunflower fields. House is within a flowery garden, with trees giving some shadow and benches to rest and even a wine yard uphill. House is compact, but large enough for a family 2+2. Equipped with a fridge, microwave and a dishwasher to make your stay comfortable. I'm already looking forward to coming back next year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to stay at Myrtus Pince as a 'more relaxed' part of our holiday in the east of Hungary. It is set in a lovely very rural location with vines open at the back. The accommodation is good, with a communal kitchen. We chose to have a wine tasting, which is highly recommended. All the wines were made by the owner who was clearly knowledgeable and passionate about making wine. Finally the thing which made our stay perfect for what we needed was the owner's willingness to go out of his way (literally) when we could benefit, getting groceries for us and later taking us to the train station.
Highly recommended for wine, walks and a quiet 'rustic' rural experience.
