★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1979-ben hozta létre néhány, az ősi hindu tanítások iránt elkötelezett fiatal a balástyai tanyavilágban a nandafalvi hindu közösséget. Nandafalva nevét az indiai szent helyről, Nandagramról kapta. Húsz év tevékenység eredményeképpen, 2000-ben nyitotta meg kapuit a hindu templom. Az alföldi tájba illeszkedő épület Szigeti Gyula műépítész tervének köszönhetően a magyar és hindu építészeti jegyek fúziója. A templom tornyában lakó egymázsás harang a magyar hagyományt is követve naponta megszólal.
A templomot körbeölelő, vörös homokkőből faragott stációk kellemes sétára hívogatják a látogatót. A templom szentélyparkja a legfontosabb alakjait mutatja be. Egyik monumentális eleme a két tonnás, egy kőből kifaragott, két méter magas Alázat-oszlop.
A templomtól kb.10 perc sétára található a kápolna.
In 1979, some young people committed to ancient Hindu teachings in the farm world of Balástya established the Hindu community in Nandafalva. Nandafalva got its name from the Indian holy place Nandagram. As a result of twenty years of activity, the Hindu temple opened its doors in 2000. The building, which fits into the Great Plain landscape, is a fusion of Hungarian and Hindu architectural features thanks to the plan of the architect Gyula Szigeti. The one-bell bell living in the tower of the church rings every day, following the Hungarian tradition.
The red sandstone stations surrounding the church invite you to take a pleasant walk. The sanctuary park of the church presents the most important figures. One of its monumental elements is the two-ton, two-meter-high Humility Column carved from a stone.
The chapel is about a 10-minute walk from the church.
