Trees, bushes, birds, grass, sand, peace and quiet. Everything a Racehorse could wish for. Road-crossings secured by gentle old men equipped with smallish but well respected Stop signs. Although nobody who finds himself in Alag Training Center during the morning workouts drives neither recklessly nor fast. The tranquility of nature and the stillness of the old stables calm high-strung nerves of Their Majesties - English Thoroughbreds. The silence is broken by riders' laughter, soft knock of the groomed hoofs on small rocks in what once was the bottom of the Panonian Sea... nowadays just strayed stones in the Racehorses' Sands. The sounds of air passing through velvet nostrils, acceleration of the strides towards rolling in the dry straw or being showered by the servants, muscular bodies of the Ultimate Sportscreatures all glitzed up with little drops of sweat appearing on their coats... Capturing the reactions of all senses even those of non-horsemen - odds 1/1. It is followed by the yearlings' small teeth crushing the golden oats, hungry after walking, trotting and cantering... Opposite to decent, metrical and blissful nourishment of the experienced racers enjoying every minute, every bite of it. That rhythmical low noise is one of the most valuable things - precious sensations - a horse can give you in return for your care, love, raising of your hopes in its abilities, talent, character, personality... It calms the most nervous of us better than any drug. Makes us enchanted.
