★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A kis timpanonos négyszögletű kápolnában álló Nepomuki Szent János-szobor nehéz időket élt meg 1728-as első felavatása óta.
A Nádasdy múzeum bajor gyűjteményében található 1822-ben készült festett prorceláncsészén még eredeti helyén a várhíd jobb oldalán egy hatoszlopos kápolnában látható.
1961-ig állt ezen a kiemelt helyen, mikor az akkori szocialista Községi Tanács a kápolnát elbontatta. A szombathelyi püspökség kérése ellenére a szobrot "száműzték" a belvárosból és a tizrnháromvárosi temető bozótosában hevert több mint 20 éven át.
1986-ban állították neki az új kápolnát, kár hogy nem az eredeti helyén és formájában.
The statue of St. John of Nepomuk, in the small chapel of the little timpan, has been experiencing difficult times since its inception in 1728.
The painted prorcelain cup, which was found in the Bavarian collection of the Nádasdy Museum in 1822, is still in its original location on the right side of the castle bridge in a six-pillar chapel.
It stood in this prominent position until 1961, when the then Socialist Municipal Council demolished the chapel. Despite the request of the bishopric of Szombathely, the statue was "exiled" from the city center and was laid in the bush of the cemetery in Tizrnháromvár for more than 20 years.
In 1986 he was given the new chapel, not to the original place and form.
