Prince Philip of Batthyány built a gloriette around the baroque statue made in 1774 on the square next to the Rába Bridge. The statue of the patron saint protects those who walk in Rába.

Az előtte haladó régi postautat szegélyezte az 1896-ban a millennium tiszteletére ültetett - védettséget élvező - piramistölgy fasor.
A tölgyeket ismeretlen okból, sajnos kivágták.
Az 1774-ben készített barokk szobor köré Batthyány-Strattmann Fülöp herceg építtette a gloriettet, melyen a kőfaragó munkálatokat 1836-37-ben Höller György soproni mester végezte, aki a kastélyon is dolgozott.
Salamon István körmendi plébános szentelte föl 1774-ben.
Passers-by in Rába are protected by a beautiful 18th-century Baroque statue of St. John of Nepomuk at a height of 3 steps under a classicist-style, Doric main-led gloriette erected on a small square next to the Rába Bridge.
The old post office in front of it was lined with a protected pyramidal oak tree planted in 1896 in honor of the millennium.
The oaks were unfortunately felled for unknown reasons.
Around the baroque statue made in 1774, Prince Fülöp Batthyány-Strattmann built the gloriette, on which the stone carving work was carried out in 1836-37 by György Höller, a master from Sopron, who also worked at the castle.
It was consecrated in 1774 by István Salamon, a parish priest from Körmend.
