★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ngon is an authentic Thai / Vietnamese place in an unexpected location. We loved every little detail: the minimal interior decor (a waving cat!), the friendly and fast service but especially the delicious food. Portions are huge: after a starter of spring rolls we struggled the finish the main course :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I saw this place for the first time it looked like I can get some authentic meal. This district has a large Asian population so I was hopeful. It was empty when I arrived, service was polite. When I looked at menu I understood why the restaurant is empty. Prices are almost double compared to downtown eateries of similar kind. The food came fast and the taste was mediocre. There are much better places in town especially in this price range.

Tasted just like I had in Bangkok, nice fun decor and attentive service.
What more could you ask for.
I had the Tom Yum coconut curry soup and spring rolls today, both were delicious.

Run by genuinely warm, helpful and culturally passionate people.
I hope I get time to return because I've not had Thai food this tasty since I was in Thailand.
