★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eredetileg Vadmentés volt a szobor neve, és az 1954-es ásványrárói vadmentés emlékére készítette Somogyi József Kossuth-díjas szobrászművész.
Jelenlegi helyén 1983 óta áll, immár Nimród néven.
 Originally the name of the statue was Wildlife Engraving, and it was created by the Kossuth Prize-winning sculptor József Somogyi to commemorate the Mineralogy of Minerals in 1954.
It has been in its present place since 1983 under the name Nimrod.
