Cozy local restaurant with a selection of Bavarian dishes and beers. Authentic atmosphere and cheerful volksmusik in the background. Bowling upstairs. Exceptionally good.

As a local I come here quite often! The service is friendly, the food is great and the portions are huge! We always end up with a lot of take away in the end. There is a two lane bowling alley up stairs along with some other pub style games so we usualy order and play a round and when we finish the food is ready. I recomend making a reservation as the place is always packed! They have a garden area that has an October fest style vibe. The whole theme of the restaurant is that by the way so from furniture to background music everything makes you feel like your in Bavaria. (As the villagers are bi-lingual german minority this is not a big surprise.)

Unfortunately, we found a very limited variety of vegetarian options, which kind of ruined the experience for us. Also, the loud music bothered most of our company. That said, the service was very attentive, and the portions were huge! We also heard that on the second floor there is a bowling alley! :)

I didn't really like the appetizer. And our food was full of flowers. Everything else was pretty good thogh

What an amazing restaurant!! Congratulations! We entered the place with a pretty large group after hiking all day. We were tired, messed up, muddy and dirty. We even had a dog. The staff had zero negativity towards, only welcoming attitude. The food is just beautiful. Large portions, neat presentation. The beer list is amazing, they even had cherry flavored beers for the joy of thirsty ladies in our company. All and all you should try this restaurant if you are looking for a great dinner location! Thank you for the amazing experience.
