Beautifully renovated, tidy church.

A free-standing neo-Gothic church with a nearly 30-meter-high façade tower. The straight-closing sanctuary is separated from the ship by a triumphal arch, which has been given a rabic suspended ceiling for thermal insulation. The triumphal arch shows the images of King St. Stephen, St. Ladislaus and St. Imre, two evangelists above the nave. All secco works by János Nagy and Artúr Kutasi painters and drawing teachers from Rákosliget. The whole equipment is in a uniform apex arch style adapted to the nature of the building. The original main altar, dedicated to St. Charles of Borrome, stood in the church until 1952 and was then taken to the countryside. After the dissolution of the Lazarist order, the altar of St. Stephen was brought here from their Chapel on Ménesi út, at which time its title changed to King St. Stephen. This altar was reclaimed 40 years later, in 1992, by the reconstituted order. The church then received a new main altar and came under the protection of the Lady of the Hungarians. The three patron saints on the neo-Gothic main altar: SAINT CARRIER OF BORROME THE HONOR OF HUNGARIANS There is a statue of KING ISTVÁN KING, works by János Máriahegyi. The face-facing altar is a canteen from the Lazarists, with four columns on the obverse, mosaic decoration between the columns, and the little Jesus with open arms in the middle. The glass windows are the works of József Palka (he also made the glass windows of the Church of St. Elizabeth of Rákoscsaba-Újtelep and St. Teresa of Lisieux in Rákoshegy, among others). In the windows on the left of the ship, Jesus can be seen with wounded soldiers, as the inscription indicates, preserving the memory of the heroes of Rákosliget who fell in World War II. Next, the Heart of Jesus and then King St. Stephen, on the right, St. Anne with the child Virgin Mary, the image of the Annunciation and St. Elizabeth, with roses in her apron. The windows of the side altars show St. Charles of Borrome and the Virgin Mary, in the sanctuary above the altar, in the round window, in the form of the Holy Spirit dove. In the chapel of the foyer is a picture of St. Rita on the wall. There is also a statue of Saint Francesco’s Old Clet from Lazarist, who suffered martyrdom in China and was consecrated in 2000 along with more than a hundred Chinese martyrs. To the right of the entrance, next to the wall, is a beautiful white statue of the Virgin Mary and the sleeping little Jesus. The restoration of the large-scale painting "The Baptism of Butter" was completed for the 2011 church farewell, which was made by a restorer László Szabó. The picture is on the wall of the side altar of the Heart of Jesus. There are three bells in the church tower, which were donated to the church by the faithful.

Believers, especially on weekends (bigots), take the main road by car, BKV flights can hardly get out of the stop due to those who are not able to approx. Walk 100 meters and park in the empty school car park or side street.
