In the past, the design was much better, and the "modern" version of it looks much more simple.
The place offers a beautiful overview of the lake Balaton and its Eastern shore. It also offers very beautiful sunrises and night overview.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shot was actually taken from the balcony of a private residence located 30 feet below the lookout. The view from the Messzelátó is far better as there is no vegetation or rooftops obstructing your view. Wonderful for surveying the lay of the land and Easternmost end of Lake Balaton.
