★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a free parking in Budapest ! The National Day is 20 August. We arrived in 18 Aug, it’s also free in 18,19th. But in 20th morning, our car is gone! The car was towed away to other place. So I think it’s free I most days beside some important day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free parking, that's hard to beat. At first I had issues finding it. There are two parallel roads along the Danube. The LOWER one is where the free parking is located. It's very easy to miss the exit when coming from the city center. I highly recommend parking there in the evening or very early. Otherwise traffic is a nightmare and spaces may all be taken. Once parked, a number of tram stations, a small pier for a Danube boat and a metro station are all close. So it's very well connected. Haven't had issues with this park site and the fact that it's located along a rather busy road should increase safety.
