The abandoned chapel is interesting in the middle of the forest. It could be a renovation. The stone statue in front of the chapel (Jesus and the two lambs) is beautifully worked and is a good work. On the edge of the fenced meadow next to it, we saw a giant sheepdog. Orultem6 was on the other side of the fence.

A little neglected chapel between the hills. It can be approached on forest roads of variable quality, but it is worth it. The island of tranquility, out of the ordinary, rarely on the phone ... But in the woods we got caught up with deer, squirrel and wild boar. :)

We drove up on poor quality asphalt all the way near the chapel. Interesting place, I really like such forgotten, ghostly places.

Long, approx. 4 km of concrete, here and there a large pit, but clearly walkable road leads near the chapel. The last meters can be made at the red ruin sign, which starts directly from the road on the left. The chapel has survived in an acceptable condition compared to the seclusion of the place, although the building that stands today was not completed until 1931. The interesting thing about the place is that the settlement of Papd, which once stood here, consisted of two parts (Alsópapd and Felsőpapd) .... but after the Turkish time it was depopulated .... Then the German settlers living in the surrounding settlements visited the then ruined church, then in 1883 a new chapel was built, but due to the swampy ground, it had to be demolished in 1930 ... and then came the building that still stands today ...
