History: The main building was owned by the Rihmer family until 1855. Some of the outbuildings were also built this year, of which the most important is the garden pavilion. This important building of the Baroque ornamental garden is referred to in contemporary sources as the house of consolation. Among other things, there were three fountains with pools in the garden, of which only the four-lobed fountain is found. The Miltényi family made only minor changes to the house around 1860, and in the 1880s the Förster family built a floor on the doorway with a Neo-Renaissance-style façade and connected the rear wing of the house to the barn. The biggest changes are due to the Grosz family from Üszög, who in 1923 conjured a smaller neo-baroque palace from the house. A gas-fired air heater, a lighted yard with a wall fountain, an artistic carved railing in the staircase, patterned parquet floors and stucco, as well as the main façade, also gained their present form at this time. The last civilian owner was Miklós Gebauer, whose exhibition hall and gallery also retained his name. Nationalization was a period of slow decay, as the house was not included in the monument inventory until 1995. From 1952 it operated for a long time as a Pioneer House and then as an auxiliary school and then stood empty for a long time. The once very high-quality ornamental garden was almost completely destroyed during this time, along with some already irreplaceable garden buildings. The legal predecessor of the House of Civil Communities was the House of Educators of the Teachers' Union. In 1993, he moved into today's building.
