Hogyan lehetséges az, hogy Pécs legnagyobb konditerme ebben a krízis helyzetben, a vírusos megbetegedések száma napról napra nő nyitva tart. Ráadásul 22 órái. Felháborító! H Rozália
How is it possible that the largest gym in Pécs in this crisis situation, the number of viral diseases is increasing open day by day. Plus 22 hours. Outrageous!

The parking fee will not be refunded, just report that we do not pay twice. Don't be too, their lice are like Fidesz.

Visszatérő rossz élmény a belvárosban parkolva a szélvédőn talált büntető cédula.
I like to go to Pécs, but unfortunately I only get to do it once or twice a year ... Returning bad experience parking in the city center with the penalty tag found on the windshield. For the second time, I manage to drive into the forbidden downtown - that is, use only a permit sign on the car - so that neither I nor the other traveler next to me had not noticed the ban in time. I have a feeling that the city administration is hardly trying to give a noticeable signal of this prohibition ... Signs that would be easily noticed by the erroneous, well-informed traveler ...

Pécs belvárosának egyik legszebb épülete. Értékelésem az építészeti értékének, látványának szól.
One of the most beautiful buildings in the center of Pécs. My appreciation is for its architectural value and spectacle.

Prekrasna, ogromna, veličanstvena i tko zna kakva još zgrada gradske vječnice. U bojama carske austrougarske.
Beautiful, huge, magnificent and who knows what other city hall building. In the colors of the Imperial Austro-Hungarian Empire. The ground floor is used for many shops, while the city administration is on the upper floors. Interestingly, the tower of the town hall is on the side, side facing the narrow alley unlike other similar town halls with the tower on the front.

If you have visited city of Pécs probably this building managed to grab your attention. Pécs city hall was build in 1907 but its history dates back to 1696. After libration of Hungary from Ottomans (1686) construction of Pécs first city hall began. It took 12 years to be completed (1698), however in 1710 because of unexpected fire it had to be renovated. One of most important event that happened in this building was declarion of Royal City status of Pécs in 1780. The building was evacuated in 1809 by Napoleon due to his annual campaign, a hospital was established in the building. Since new jobs were created in the government after the declaration of Royal City status, first building wasn't enough for the local government. They decided to build last but not least new 2 storey building with a tower in 1830 from the foundations and stones of previous building and it was completed in 1834. However in 1898 they decided to build new building that would be more stable and strong since old building would last max 40-50 years. So construction was began, neo-baroque, eclectic building was finished in 1907.

A beautiful impressive building with detailed sculptural details all over it. Located in Széchenyi Tér (Square). It's the town hall or something like it. You really need binoculars or a telephoto lens to see much of the extraordinarily detailed and decorations all over the building. Many of the buildings here have similarly decorative details on them and I have a sore neck from trying to look at them!
