I have to say I have had an absolutely terrible experience at – Penny Budapest Lehel Ter. The staff were uneducated, incompetent and unhelpful. I wanted to buy an item, came to the cashier, the lady could not find the label for the product, made me stand and wait by the cashier for 10 minutes, then when she finally found the code for the product and the price, the code did not work and they refused to sell me the product. A man named Istvan, whom I asked to find a solution for this problem, was also completely unhelpful, instead of trying to find a solution he kept repeating "Sorry no buy, sorry no buy" --- without, offering any compensation or even apologizing for wasting my time. Since when is it acceptable for the staff in a SHOP to say "SORRY NO BUY" to a customer who wants to purchase a product found in the shelves of the shop, and is willing to pay for it? Also, why would you display products in the shop which do not work in your system and the customer is unable to buy them? I am very disappointed by the incompetence and unhelpful attitude of the staff at Penny Lehel Ter, I will not be coming back to this store ever again, and I definitely don't recommend this shop to anyone who wishes to have a nice and smooth shopping experience.

It has good stuff, but the Penny card is useless. I always spent a lot of money at this shop but I've never got any discount or at least points.

One of the larger, cleaner Penny Markets I've been to. Regular Penny market quality and selection which if you do not know Penny means basic, mostly low priced goods. Interestingly, there are 2 markets right next to one another, operated separately. The one at one end of the metro plaza, the other at the mid point of Lehel Piac and the other end if the metro. They are not the same.

Underground supermarket next to the metro 3 stop at Lehel tér. Good prices and friendly workers. Good quality and variety of products from famous brands and clean environment and corridors. Accessible only with stairs, so it's not recommend it to elderly people with walkers o wheelchairs.

Underground Penny Market at the metro stop, so it's easy to approach. It's bigger than it looks, and you can find here mostly all kind of food The prices are cheap, but the quality is worse than Lidl for example.

Good and cheap stuff but the vegetables are not always good and not everything is available...the staff is friendly and the frozen pizza is delicious especially this kind for vegetarians

Crowded, anytime i go there, there's a long waiting line! You go inside to get ONE thing it takes like 2 minutes to buy, but you have to wait 9 times out of 10 like 10 or 15 minutes to pay...
