★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place ever!! I've been waiting for an hour and a half outside in the cold, when finally got at the end of the queue, all food was finished, I had to take something else which was so expensive and quality so bad. Potatoes were not well cooked and meat was sticky!!
Stay away, it's expensive and quality is awful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was charged 2,300ft for babgulyas and one half sice of bread. That price you can expect downton pest but not out in the countryside. I suppose a foreigner like me on a bicycle (speaking Hungarian well) was just too good an opportunity for easy free money. I'm telling all my cyclist friends NOT to go there!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a great spot. I only tried two of the soups. The goulash was very good, meat was tender and it was full of flavor. I also tried the wild boar stew. I’ve tried this before at other places and it was gamey. At the Platán Panzio it was a revelation! Excellent flavor. Not gamey at all, but tender and just a little sweet with several layers of flavor. I would go back just for that. One star gets taken away for service. It was very very slow. They seemed to be under staffed on a busy fall weekend. Also, I called another time because I wanted to go back. The person who answered seemed short tempered and rude. I would definitely go back, but only at a time I know it won’t be busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice and cozy place, with fresh and home made, traditional Hungarian dishes including different types of stews and goulash, served within minutes. Price is low-mid range, service fee included (10%). After a hike around Dobogókő, I would definitely recommend this place - much more quiet and way less crowded than the others around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only tried the restaurant for an early dinner - the service was courteous and fast and the food was excellent. We ordered the deer stew, the pork filled with onions, bacon and cheese and another stew (pacal, not sure about the English translation). Recommended, I hope I can come back here. The area is must-see.
