Before I go into this any further, I must say that if you have a BMW you’d be mad not servicing it at Polltom. They have been in the business for many years and they clearly have the knowledge and experience with these cars. And let’s be honest, if you have anything newer than a E38, E39 and E46, you need a trustworthy mechanic like them even more so. I now live in England but have been a loyal customer of Polltom over ten years now and I had by far the best experience with them out of all garages that I have had to visit over the years both in Hungary and in England. These garages include the famous Munich Legends in West Sussex which lends classic BMWs to Top Gear. Last month I even went as far as driving my UK registered E46 M3 across Europe all the way to Hungary and back (2200 miles) to have it serviced by Polltom. Having read some of the most recent reviews on here, I had to realise how much unintelligent people don’t care about the impact of their (YES, it is spelt T H E I R and not T H E R E) unfair, false comments on the reputation of such a legitimate business like Polltom (one of the very few in Hungary). If you can’t leave a balanced feedback, just keep it to yourselves! With regards to the location I admit Asztalos Sandor road is craving for a resurfacing which I have never felt more than when I was driving my M3 to the garage. However, an intelligent person would not bring this up against Polltom, you are more than welcome to fight this out with the local council. I’m sure they will be all ears! Admittedly the garage is located within a rundown industrial complex next to a main rail line and the area does not look as pretty as Vaci road. If all you are after is a fancy location, feel free to visit Wallis and pay 3-4x and feel proud of yourself being ripped off. Public transport links aren’t bad either. If you are not prepared to walk 10 minutes to a tram/bus/underground, then do us all a favour and stay home. The only garage I allow to service my car in England (Munich Legends) is 2.5 hours’ drive from London and 2.5 hours’ walk from the nearest train station with no public transport to the station. How about that?! This is all about keeping the costs as well as the prices down as much as reasonably possible. The garage is very well equipped and fully renovated inside. They have a decent waiting area with comfortable chairs and yes, the famous free coffee machine. If you are so offended by the free coffee, then don’t drink it! Simple. With regards to customer services, I have never had any issues or complaints (try to get in touch with a garage here in the UK, you’ll see what I mean). They are very busy most of the time, the phone does not stop ringing for a split second (I’ve seen it many times with my own eyes) and if you haven’t booked an appointment upfront then what you expect?! At Munich Legends I must book 2 to 3 weeks in advance and this is when I’m lucky. Waiting a week for a call or for your car to be fixed isn’t too bad, but I’m sure your local “expert” would have fixed it in 10 minutes. Good luck with that! If anyone has got this far reading, will probably believe me when I say, Polltom will never try to rip you off and they have the expertise to fix and maintain your BMW. They are not the cheap “mechanic” from around the corner who will fix your warning lights from a couple of thousand Forints by deleting the fault codes (Hungarian way of keeping a car running). If you can’t accept the fact that these cars cost a small fortune when new for a reason and they did not come with the promise of not requiring you to spend money on maintenance, then you are better off using public transport or just simply walk. This was not a paid or incentivised review in any way, I merely tried to leave a balanced feedback after all those recent false, misleading and idiotic comments.

Very professional and fair BMW service. They use original parts and yet, I would say the prices are fair. They had the chance to milk me for more money by doing a big service, instead, they repaired my car for less money by changing part by part and asking me to drive and see if the problem is still there or already gone. They do not speak fluent English but they know enough to get the job done. It's best if you call before you go, as they are very busy and if they are not expecting you, you may have to wait for a long time.

There is no respect for the customer, my car spent a week in there garage and was never checked, I went to the shop and they promised to call the next day, never received the call, I called there shop they asked me to call after 5 min and then they never answered although I called more than 10 times over 4 hours period. an I just wanted to have a time where they can just check what is wrong with the car. however good there car service people say, it is worth nothing if their customer service is bad.
