Look for other tefl programs who are more upfront about the legalization/authentication process. If you plan to teach in China or Vietnam you have to pay for an extra course and other steps costing 225 euros total so you can get a ‘legalized’ certificate. Something premier tefl neglects telling you when you take the 120-hour tefl course. Why wouldn’t you add that in the fine print or something? And the customer service is awful. I made it clear my request was timely and Sandra said she would send me the necessary information I needed the same day, BUT she waited until the next day. ‘Well that’s no big deal,’ you’re probably thinking. Normally, no. BUT had I gotten the promised information about the legalization process when she said, I wouldn’t have bought my flight yet and been better able to plan for these stupid extra steps. Thanks a lot Sandra for being a careless slug about your job. Thanks premier TEFL for hiding this fun fact of an extra class to teach in vietnam and china. THEN they’re holding my hard copy certificate hostage because they want some disclaimer to keep them out of legal trouble. Where was this disclaimer about the legalization process before I took your TEFL course. They do bad business. RUN!!!!!
