Today, the name of the village is derived from the personal name Acha, which is probably derived from the ancient Turkish word aca (relative). The four-cornered baroque castle with a rectangular floor plan today stands partly with a basement and a two-storey, attic roof. According to the coat of arms chronology above its entrance gate, it was built between 1735-40 by Gábor Prónay and his wife Éva Királythvi Róth, according to some assumptions with the help of Giovanni Battista Carlone, an Italian architect working in nearby Szirák, Eger and its surroundings. All the living rooms and corridors of the castle are decorated with precious Baroque and Classicist murals, and the ceilings of the upstairs ballroom are covered with rich stucco. In the second half of the 18th century, Gábor Prónay had a one-storey library building built between the castle and the church, in which the seldom-valuable library and archives of a family with outstanding education were kept. At the end of the 19th century, an extension was built to the baroque castle from the north, and this was added at the beginning of the 20th century. The façade architecture of both extensions is unusual, but in a way so characteristic of the family mentality, it faithfully follows the Baroque castle. In addition to many garden structures, the characteristic feature of its park is a work ruin. The appearance of the castle of Acsa evokes the highland castles built during the 17th century, from which the building family comes. Its spatial system and interior design are of great value. In a closed area is the castle, which is guarded, can not be visited. Every fall there is a village day when it is opened and can be viewed from the inside as well. The castle is managed by Forster, the entire roof has been replaced and the plinth has been repaired. Nothing has been done inside yet, but hopefully sooner or later the castle will be renewed as this has also been included in the national castle program.

The castle building is not open to the public, once a year, the gates are opened on the village day. So not much can be seen from the building, surrounded by high fences and dense vegetation. The roof was said to have been renovated, but the building itself was quite neglected. There are no information backs or other signs in the vicinity.
