Puchner Castle Hotel

Excellent relaxing environment very very familiar, with a handful opportunity for children and young people. Discrete staff and plesent bath, Lords hall. No need to go everywhere else. Recommended for couples and young families for first, but for Roman grays too.

Great place, nice medieval village/attraction, great horseman show. Very good dinners, and the drinks (juice, wine, beer) are included in the price. Our room had medieval look, and it was nice.

Great place to stay for couple of days. Massive garden and walks within the estate. Food is fairly nice, room are decent. Well recommend for families and couples who wish to get away from the busy everydays.

It is a historical feeling built like place, with good prices. You can feel yourself in the nights age as the place has its own village where the workers are dressed like at the knight’s age. There are local shows knights fight. More restaurant can be found, one of them you can eat like the knights (no cutlery). The place is really good to stay enjoy the spa and all different high quality services. Also good if you just want to travel around.

I'll start by saying that we still had a good time. Probably the 4 stars Resort Hotel is because of the themes and lots of different programs they do. We arrive on Friday afternoon, we had send a request by email, to have in the room when we arrive a bottle of sampain, we never got one. As you can see from the pics, the ceiling of the room was full with blood spots from the many many moschitos and flying ant's. I had to deal with that by myself like for an hour until there was no more in the room so we can sleep. At the window or terrace door there was nothing moschitoweb from stopping any fly to get in so we had to stay all along with the door and window closed, not cool. The pools for the kids area were very nice and we had lots of fun. At diner and breakfast, as you can see from the pics, doesn't look at all like a 4 start resort Hotel, on Sunday people were waiting for food as there was bearly anything an the tables. Also in the pics you can see the room faults that I find, also not a 4 start hotel. In the room, we didn't have a phone information book, we never could dial at the reception as we didn't know what is the number or ask for anything. I can't say that we will go back, if you go for the wellness you will enjoy as it's big and have what to do. We were with two kids, that's why I said we still had a good time, because of them. Clean room, great baths, good menu, nice staff. One little side note: if you have diabetes or sg like that, you won't find a food to eat :( besides that we loved the place

We spent a lovely weekend here (2 adults, 1 child). Enjoyed every moment during the stay at the resort and did not want to leave at all. For families I cannot wish for any better hotel in Hungary. Will be back.

The spa is good, but the food is AWESOME! Gourmet food lovers must try and huge extra the whole environment- you’ll feel yourself as a knight from the mid-age :)
