Az eredeti kettő Salgótarjánban (a főtéren) illetve Mohácson (a Hősök parkjában) látható 1970 óta. Később Borban (Szerbia), majd Überlingenben is felállítottak újabb másolatokat. Mivel nemzetközi előírások értelmében egy szoborból öt példány készülhet, így a budapesti az utolsó, több helyen már nem kerülhet felállításra. (Borban ellopták egyszer a szobrot, majd újraöntve pótolták, így tulajdonképpen eggyel többet öntöttek belőle.) Hasonló Radnóti szobor a Radnóti utca és a Pozsonyi utca sarkán, a Herman Ottó Általános Iskola mellett is áll, a XIII. kerületben.
