Some amazing art nouveau pieces.
A bit small and empty apart from that. But friendly and quiet

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to feel like a Cold War spy, this is the place to go. The staff are probably very nice, but need to learn how to follow people around a little less ostentatiously, lest the guests feel like criminals. Although we loved the feeling of having our own personal security, it was a bit wearing to be silently tailed around the whole museum, especially as each room has security cameras and most exhibits are behind glass. The temptation to actually steal something (a sensation I’d not had before) became increasingly strong throughout our visit, if only to give the poor attendants something meaningful to do.
Aside from that, the place is lovely. Gorgeous art nouveau furniture, ceramics and decor. In fact, it was so beautiful we just *had* to take a few pieces with us. Must recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and small museum, about the secession in Hungary. It is two floors with ten rooms, all about glass and small items and furniture of the turn of the century. A couple of interesting chandeliers are also worth noting.
There are no information about the items on display - you will get a booklet that describes all and you give it back to the cashier after your visit. No museum shop.
The garden is also small and nice to sit for a couple of minutes after the visit.
Ticket price is about 9 EUR, a bit on the expensive side compared to other museums in Hungary - still, an afternoon hour well spent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was super kind and helpful. The collection of furnitures is amazing however it would be useful to have detailed information about them(since there is nothing). I missed a bit to see rugs in the interiors, however i do understand it would be difficult to walk around in the rooms. The one that is actually exhibited is a really nice piece.
