Az építkezés 1831-ben az országos kolerajárvány miatt abbamaradt,1841-ben már Hild József tervei alapján folytatták.
Végleges befejezése 1859-ben volt,amikor a régi templom anyagából kőkerítéssel vették körül.
Stílusa neoklasszicista.
Orgonáját Docsekát József debreceni mester készítette 1885-ben.
Tornyai 48.5 méter magasak.
1952-óta műemlék.
 It was built between 1828-59.
First plans by architect Francis vague Szolnok 1826.
Construction was stopped in 1831 due to the national cholera epidemic, and in 1841 it was resumed according to the plans of József Hild.
Its final completion was in 1859, when it was surrounded by stone fences from the material of the old church.
Style is neoclassical.
The organ master Docsekát Joseph Debrecen by 1885.
Its towers are 48.5 meters high.
It has been a monument since 1952.
