"...feje fölött az égi jel koronázza tornyát, sisakját, karcsú derekától szoknyája kiszélesedik, erős, széles talpakon áll, mint az ember... Toronytemplom" – mondta Csete György építész (a Debreceni Református Kollégium egykori diákja) művéről, amely formailag a nyírbátori harangtorony modern változata. Az épület két nagy egységre bontható. Az utcaszinten, keletre nyílik a lelkészlakás és a közösségi terek. Ezek fölött a szakrális tér, maga a templom. A négy fiatorony az evangélistákat, a nagy torony - ablakain át a fény az úrasztalára esik - a Megváltót jelképezi. Debrecen Megyei Jogú Város Képviselőtestülete 2008-ban Debrecen Város Borsos József Nívódíja elismerést adományozott a Tégláskerti református templom kiemelkedő színvonalú, igényes építészeti tervezéséért Csete György építésznek.
The Reformed Church was consecrated in the Brick Garden on July 8, 2006. Tower Church" a modern version of the Nyírbátor bell tower. The building can be divided into two large units. On the street level, to the east, the pastor's apartment and communal spaces open. Above these is the sacred space, the church itself. The four young towers symbolize the evangelists, the great tower — through its windows the light falls on the lord's table — symbolizes the Savior. In 2008, the Representative Body of the City of Debrecen with County Rights awarded the József Borsos Level Award of the City of Debrecen to architect György Csete for the outstanding quality and demanding architectural design of the Tégláskerti Reformed Church.
