The construction of the church began in 1750, and its tower was acquired in 1821.

A XVII. century, there was only a modest church made of hedges and covered with mud in the courtyard of today's parish, which was demolished in 1705. The new, larger church was established in the courtyard of the Daróczi and Dry lords. It was the size of 8 kills x 3 kills, presumably in its place today. As the number of believers increased, an even larger building was needed, and in 1750 the foundation stone of today's church was laid. It was built for 20 years and was consecrated on November 5, 1776. It could not have been a tower due to the oppressed position of the Reformed Church at the time. The bell stood on the belfry. The Parliament of 1790-91 also provided Protestant churches with free religious practice in the spirit of the Enlightenment. As a result, the Reformed church tower also rose high, announcing its presence from 1796. This is evidenced by the Latin inscription engraved in natural stone above the entrance: Dom Sub Franz II. Imp. Hace Aedif. AO. 1796th In 1806 and 1808, a fire destroyed and caused great damage to the church. The number of believers at that time was 750 souls. By 1821, the church tower, which still stands today, was completed, on which this year can be read. In 1908, the presbytery decided to renovate the church, which took place in 1911. The tower was covered with tin, and the button and star on the tower were also gilded.
