Az avató ünnepségen jelen volt Kós Károly unokája is. After the grace decree of Joseph II in 1783, the Reformed people of Óbuda received permission to build their own church. The foundation stone of Budapest's oldest Calvinist house of worship, still standing today, was laid on May 18, 1785, and the church was consecrated on August 27, 1786. The tower was built the following year. The new parish was built in 1908-1909 with the plans and supervision of Károly Kós. In 2016, after the insulation, a mural made by the building drawings of the painter Lajos Veszeli, Károly Kós, was placed on the firewall of the parish. The granddaughter of Károly Kós was also present at the inauguration ceremony.
