★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The traditional Cigánypecsenye was delicious, my friend said the flavor exploded in his mouth. The chicken meals were very tasty as well, not dry at all. This restaurant serves many traditional dishes. The young waiter speaks perfectly English but they also have an English card. It was very quiet when we were there but I can think it's usually pretty full. My friend always kept an eye on the cute waitress.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely medieval typical Hungarian restaurant designed like a cellar still upholdimg traditional Hungarian culture. Located in the heart of Debrecen.
The meals were served in Hungarian style, starting with the traditional goulash soup and then the main meal and some wine. While at it we got entertained by live Hungarian music played from a cello and a violin by highly motivated artists.
I enjoyed the evening with my husband courtesy of our special Hungarian friend.
I recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good food, friendly and swift service. I highly recommended this for trying some authentic Hungarian food. I had the catfish soup with pasta and cottage cheese. Wonderful taste!
