Részben nyitott váróhelysége nem túl higiénikus állapotban van tartva. A megállóhelyen Budapest - Dombóvár-Pécs és Kaposvár végpontokra lehet utazni. Csak személyvonatok állnak meg itt, melyek modern tiszta kulturált utazást biztosítanak "Flirt" típusú motorvonatokon. A megállóhelyről nagyszerű kilátás nyílik a közeli erdőkkel borított dombokra, melyek remek túrázásra adnak lehetőséget
