Bácsi Róbert László–Hermann Ildi: Szemközt – Holokauszt-történetek két távoli városból fényképeken

Külső helyszín: Holokauszt Emlékközpont | 2022. augusztus 31-ig

A holokauszt lassan nyolc évtizedes távolságba kerülve a fiatalabb generációk számára egyre inkább visszaszorul a történelemkönyvek lapjaira.

This exhibition is not very big but it was very impressive. This was a great way to learn and observe more about the culture and current events in Hungary along side some stunning photography. I know the exhibition changes often but I imagine it’s always worth seeing.

A must go gallery while you are Budapest. Also there's a little Capa cafe next door.

Friendly staff, interesting pictures, not my taste, but that's no reason for deducting stars! Why I deduct: its not easy to find the entrance, some renovation is going on outside, what's on display is again not easy to decipher? The Capa part is good, some Fotos are indeed strong I really liked the sofas to sit and let the images in the project room do its thing, unfortunately thay didn, t do much for me. Lastly, no context, or some points to relate we're badly missing for me. In my opinion Budapest has better places to spend ones time, still a valuable experience...

Nice Building and some good exhibitions but I absolutely don't recommend going to the hunting exhibition of Zsigmond Szenchenyi as it just glorifies hunting (now endangered animals) without disclaimers or retrospective studies.
