It is worthwhile to mention that an abandoned church is always interesting. If you love lovers do not be frightened, there is lottery around! :)

We haven’t only seen it from afar, but the next time we go to this we have to look, it’s very nice based on the pictures of others. Great wedding photography venue!

Quiet little place, the area is fine and there is a roof in the chapel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az épület neve tévesen van megadva. A képeken a Szent Vendel kápolna látható. 5 csillagot adtam, mert az épület remek fotótéma, de igazán sajnálatra méltó, hogy ezt a pici kis drágakövet - ami akár a puszta és a környék dísze is lehetne -, így hagyták lepukanni... ?☹
The building name is incorrect. The pictures show the Chapel of St. Vendel. I gave it 5 stars because the building is a great photo subject, but it's really unfortunate that this tiny little gemstone - which could even be a decoration of the sheer and the surrounding area - was left to fade ... ?☹

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pusztaszikszói kápolnát az 1730-as években Barkóczy Ferenc építtette Szent Vendel tiszteletére. A bronzkor óta lakott, török időkben elpusztult egykori településnek mára semmi nyoma nem maradt. A templomot anno azért építették ide, hogy segítségével újra feléledhessen az egykori település, ez azonban nem járt sikerrel. Állapota egyre romló.
The chapel in Pusztaszikszó was built by Ferenc Barkóczy in honor of St. Vendel in the 1730s. The former settlement, inhabited since the Bronze Age and destroyed in Turkish times, has left no trace. The church was built here that year to help revive the former settlement, but this was not successful. His condition is deteriorating.
