★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is very elegant, quiet, impeccable service, good food at decent prices. One of the best meals of our stay in Budapest. I recommend the beef steak with goose liver on top. It is quite difficult to find a parking space in the area, but it is worth it.
The only inconvenience was that they charged 10% extra on the receipt for serving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is located just 2 mins away from Astoria metro station and you have to go through a small building as walking shortcut.
Place is medium sized (probably can accommodate around 40 people in ground + 1st floor) but well maintained lighting and cleanliness. I had salmon steak and it was well marinated and cooked. Food service was quick, but the biggest table can fit 4 people (unless they help joining tables up etc).
Note - I ordered Goulash soup, Salmon, white wine. HoweverI was served salmon before soup. To avoid fish getting cold, I accepted fish and cancelled soup, but the staff was really apologetic, and hence it disnt impact getting this 5 star review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just perfect if you need to slow down a bit in a nice and cozy place after a very busy week or crowded conference. Tasty food as well, excellent service and I also enjoyed the walk to this place in such a quiet and nice evening. Couldn't ask for more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tried the stuffed cabbage starter, trout mains, and steak and foie gras main. The stuffed cabbage was delicious - probably my favourite. It seems like they do traditional Hungarian food well. The trout and steak were decent but not excellent. Prices were reasonable. Service was good - like a fine dining experience but without the pretension.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall 5 stars for us. We visited a few diners in Budapest and this was the best. We had beef loin, pork knuckle, trout, Pork Schnitzel, and everything was absolutely delicious particulary piping hot new potatoes were top notch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best restaurant during all our stay in Budapest! Perfect choice of Hungarian dishes. I even forgot to take some photos, coz everything was so delicious! We ordered lunch menu , that consisted of 3 courses, and a separate main dish. The service was great, the interior was also quite sober, but attractive.
I recommend to visit this place if you are in Budapest!

The service was good, the prices very reasonable and the food was very good. We found the wine selection, and price, to be excellent. Other restaurants charged, we felt, twice as much for poorer tasting wine.
Highly recommended, felt more local than other places we visited.
