L	Lehmann Jefte on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A soproni Szent György-templom gótikus, egyhajós belső terét az 1676-os tűzvész után több lépésben alakították át: a csúcsíves lezárású főhajót gazdag stukkóval díszítették és kétoldalt kápolnasorral keretezték. 1380-1430 között eredetileg gótikus stílusban épült. Mozgalmas, olaszos homlokzata a 17. századból származik, de rajta két gótikus domborművet máig megőriztek. Némileg az 1760-as években is átalakították. Eklektikus tornyát 1882-ben emelték. A szentély melletti keresztelő kápolnában középkori freskótöredéket látni. A stukkódíszeket 1705–1706 között Pietro Antonio Conti készítette; berendezése is többnyire 18. századi. A templomban található Magyarország legrégebbi orgonája, Johann Wöckherl bécsi mester műve 1633-ból. Szabadon, ingyenesen látogatható. The Gothic, single-nave interior of the Church of St. George in Sopron was remodeled in several steps after the fire of 1676: the main nave with a pointed arch was decorated with rich stucco and framed on both sides by a row of chapels. It was originally built in the Gothic style between 1380-1430. Its lively Italian façade dates back to the 17th century, but two Gothic reliefs have been preserved to this day. It was also somewhat remodeled in the 1760s. Its eclectic tower was built in 1882. To see a fragment of a medieval fresco in the baptismal chapel next to the sanctuary. The stucco ornaments were made by Pietro Antonio Conti between 1705 and 1706; its furnishings are also mostly 18th century. The church houses the oldest organ in Hungary, the work of the Viennese master Johann Wöckherl from 1633. Free to visit.

A fényviszonyok sajnos ottjártamkor nem voltak túl kedvezők, így akkor csak egy képre volt lehetőség, de legközelebb majd igyekszem több jó minőségű képet is készíteni. Témát pedig ad ehhez bőven ez az ódon épület! This temple is beautiful, I always admire it as I walk. Because it's worth the trip! Unfortunately, the light conditions were not very favorable when I was there, so there was only one picture available, but next time I will try to take more high quality pictures. And there is plenty of theme in this ancient building!

Pár pillanatnyi bent tartózkodás után már mentem is nagyon gyorsan kifelé. Az egyetlen, ami megkapott az a Szent Rita kép s a gyertyák, ahol én is meggyújtottam egyet. From the outside, the church is very impressive and interesting, but I was very surprised when I entered how cold and dark the interior was. After a few moments of staying inside, I was already going out very quickly. The only thing I got was the picture of the Holy Rita and the candles where I lit one.

A templom gótikus, egyhajós 1380-1430 között épült, az 1760-as években kissé átalakították. Eklektikus tornya 1882-ben épült. Azt olvastam, hogy Magyarország legrégebbi orgonája itt található. A templom honlapja 2020 év elején még fejlesztés alatt, az altemplommal kapcsolatos információkért a médiában kell utánjárni. We only found out late that the temple was open for sign-in, so we couldn't see the main ship. The church is Gothic, single-navy Built between 1380 and 1430, it was slightly modified in the 1760s. We attended Sunday night Mass, not here. There were a surprising number of young people and we also marveled at the guitarist-singer girls. it was a special experience!
