★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nemrégiben történt felújításnak köszönhetően az épület teljes pompájában ragyog, napsütésben a toronykupolák aranyszínű gömbjei és a keresztek szinte világítanak. A két torony között a lenyilazott Szent Sebestyén szobra látható.
Thanks to its recent renovation, the building shines in all its splendor, and in the sun the golden spheres of the tower domes and the crosses are almost lit. Between the two towers you can see the statue of St Sebastian's.

1800-07 között épült barokk,klasszicista és neogót stílusban a Szent Sebestyén-kápolnát átépítve,melyet az 1738-39-es pestisjárvány után építettek, a betegségből való megszabadulás emlékére.
(A fogadalom 1739.01.20-án volt)
A mai templom ennek a kápolnának a kibővítése,átépítése.
A két torony 1836-ban készült.
Három harangja van egy 802 kg-os (Juhász Lajos 1975 Verőce),egy 422,és egy 95 kg-os (Walser Ferenc 1924 Budapest).
Also known as: Upper Town Great Church,
shepherd's church, votive church.
It was built between 1800-07 in Baroque, Classicist and Neo-Gothic style, rebuilding the Chapel of St. Sebastian, which was built after the plague of 1738-39 in memory of getting rid of the disease.
(The vow was on January 20, 1739)
Today's church is an extension and reconstruction of this chapel.
The two towers were built in 1836.
It has three bells, one weighing 802 kg (Lajos Juhász 1975 Verőce), one 422, and one 95 kg (Ferenc Walser 1924 Budapest).
