Best Campground in Hungary

K	Kornél Katona on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Többször megfordultam már itt, magánúton és osztálykirándulások alkalmával is. Nagyon szép helyen van, az erdő mélyén, Szögligettől pár kilométerre. A gyerekek nagyon szerették a helyet, a legjobb osztálykirándulásaik közé sorolják. A közeli Szádvár jó kis túrával megtekinthető. A helyszínen van két jól felszerelt konyha, étkező, közös felújított zuhanyzók, terasz, kinti kemence, kinti fedett étkező, szalonnasütő hely, és nagyon tágas udvar. Mindez teljesen megfizethető áron. I have visited here several times, both on private trips and on class trips. It is in a very nice place, deep in the forest, a few kilometers from Szögliget. The kids loved the place very much, ranking it among their best class trips. Nearby Szádvár can be seen on a good little tour. On site there are two well-equipped kitchens, a dining room, shared renovated showers, a terrace, an outdoor oven, an outdoor covered dining area, a barbecue area, and a very spacious courtyard. All this at a completely affordable price.

Különösképpen tudom ajánlani a tábortüzet, mert ha addig nem is, azután már igazán megjön a táborhangulat. The class and I came here for a trip. The place is very nice and clean, the staff is nice. I can especially recommend the campfire, because if not before, then the camp atmosphere will really come.
A	András Polgár on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Csodálatos környezetben kellemes szállás.. Étterem nincs, de jól felszerelt konyhájában bármit elkészíthetsz. Hatalmas kert, rengeteg sütő, főzö hellyel. Pleasant accommodation in a wonderful environment. There is no restaurant, but you can prepare anything in its well-equipped kitchen. Huge garden, lots of ovens, cooking space.
R	Rodrigó László Mészáros on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Remek hely, csendes, tiszta, hátizsákos turistáknak ideális. Zúzottköves út végén, ahol egy busz épp még tud fordulni. Bolt csak a faluban van, de a konyha nagy és felszerelt. A játszótér modern, Szádvár a hegytetőn gyalog egy órányi távolságra. Great place, quiet, clean, ideal for backpackers. At the end of a crushed stone road, where a bus can still turn. Shop is only in the village, but the kitchen is large and equipped. The playground is modern, with Szádvár on the hilltop an hour’s walk away.

Cozy, comfortable tourist hostel in beautiful surroundings with a huge grassy yard along the Ménes stream, close to Szádvár. It is the starting point for star tours and excursions.
P	Piotr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fajne, ciche i spokojne miejsce na wypoczynek. Czysto, dostępne wszystko co potrzeba od dostępu do wyposażonej kuchni po kijki na ognisko?. Kiepski dojazd, droga dziurawa, brak zasięgu. Blisko na zamek w Sadvar (ruiny, ale interesujące) Cool, quiet and peaceful place to relax. Clean, everything you need available, from access to an equipped kitchen to fire poles?. Poor access, leaky road, no coverage. Close to Sadvar Castle (ruins, but interesting)

It has a good looking playground for kids that could be accessible after or before a nice trip up to the ruins of the ruins. Also food is available here in thenlocal restaurant/bufet. For the momment is under construction - so ot was closed for public use (do not know the comcerned period).
L	Lugia Depression on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We was there only for the gift shop, which about I have to say it's MUCH smaller than it looks like at the pictures on Google map... The ladies was VERY helpful and sweetheart, the garden of the place is beautiful! But ⚠be aware⚠the place guarded by a mad, big dog which barked at us all the time, he didn't want to let us in the garden at all, we only could walk in because I'm kind of crazy and didn't want him keep me away after we did a long way to get there. And we saw he also was scary-aggressive with the little kids who was customers in the hotel.
