A Börzsöny kapujában, számtalan túraútvonal kiindulópontjában található Igazgatóságunk erdei iskolája és látogatóközpontja Királyréten, ahol 3-6-8 ágyas szobákban 41 fő részére, valamint 2 ágyas, zuhanyzós szobákban 10 fő részére biztosítunk szálláslehetőséget. Vendégeink a látogatóközpont nyújtotta lehetőségek közül is válogathatnak – interaktív természetismereti kiállítás, vezetett séták a Királyréti tanösvényen várják az érdeklődőket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The "Eagle Hill" lookout is part of the natural reserve of the same name on a hilltop in the 12th district of Budapest. It can only be visited during opening yours between 26 February and 1 November. We were yet so unfortunate to be there in winter, but will certainly come back again to enjoy the full show on offer:
Lookout point + live lizards and snakes exhibition + live animal display/show on weekends + nature trail (1km - 45 minutes)
All this in a wonderful setting in Budapest.
However, this is not a hike or a long event, for such you shall visit other parts of the Buda Hills (e.g. Hármashatár Hill, János Hill, Normafa).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot to look over the city. Inside there's an interactive information board about the flora and fauna of the hill. They organize guided tours around the hill and you can sign up here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The opening hours are a joke. Also, not the best view of Budapest, I'd recommend you to check out the Citadell or the Hármashatárhegy instead, for a better view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having spent several days besides it, I finallyfound time to visit the hill. The bus 8E will taje you within 10 min walking distance, and there's a paved way all the way to the top. It's obvious that the site offers wonderful views all around it, but it's also a protected nature area, so there's certain peace and tranquility you won't find at the much more popular Gellert or Janus-hegy hills. It must be noted though that first there is an admission fee of 500 forints that has to be paid at the entrance to the area, and second - the access to the hill is restricted solely to the path to the top -roaming around it is not permitted.
