★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and worth to visit with the price you pay (the ticket is only 1.000FT). It could be interesting to have some explanation about the history of jewish culture in Budapest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, this synagogue is considerably prettier than the larger one at the foot of Dohány street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful synagogue. It is not big but well adorned with vibrant color. Not as touristy as the nearby big synagogue. It feels more intimate and much nicer because you can enjoy the space without the crowd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enormously high ceilings, lovely ornamental decorations on the walls and ceiling. There are little descriptions spread throughout the synagogue explaining the basics of a synagogue set-up, main differences between this and the Dohany synagogue.
When we visited it was not possible to visit the balconies.
It'll take you around (up to?) 15 min to visit. Although it depends how interested you are in Judaism, I can imagine that for very investigative people, it can take longer!
